About the Logo
After the name was adopted, the next step was to bring into formation the image that the name projected: a Blue Mammoth.

The original logo was a simple silhouette. But it was too literal, lacked originality, and no matter how it was positioned, it gave the feeling that it was taken from clip-art.

Blue Mammoth Design didn't need a literal symbol of a blue mammoth, it had to convey that it represented a design studio. So other, more innovative forms of the mammoth took shape. The challenge was to push the form to its limits, while keeping it recognizably a woolly mammoth.

Once it was rendered, the final logo was regarded by everyone who saw it as a perfect match. It was a form that none of us had seen before and we liked the constructivist style it expressed.
